Kava is the root of Piper methysticum, drunk across the Pacific for centuries. Its active compounds are kavalactones, and the thing that separates a serious kava product from a decorative one is whether it tells you how many you are getting. Ours does, on every pack, and every batch is lab tested before it ships.

Traditional kava means grinding root, kneading it into cold water and straining it — about twenty minutes, and an earthy taste most people take a while to get on with. Powder and tea are quicker but still need preparation. Gummies skip all of it, which is why they suit weeknights, travel, and anywhere you do not have a kitchen.
