Our Kava Extract Process
From left to right below, learn how we use the most innovative methods to ensure potency, consistency, and quality.

CO2 Extraction With Buffalo Extraction Systems
After arriving at our facility, your kava is processed using state-of-the-art supercritical CO2 extraction technology:
- We utilize a 1200L extractor operating at up to 350 bar for high-purity extract
- This is a closed-loop system for environmental efficiency
- With GMP-certified standards for safety and consistency
- This method extracts the full-spectrum of kavalactones without using solvents
This ensures the cleanest, most potent kava extract possible—used in the premium product you’re enjoying now.

How are the kavalactones extracted using CO2?
In its supercritical state, CO2 acts as a versatile solvent, able to selectively pull out both hydrophobic and hydrophilic compounds. This method preserves the natural potency of kavalactones, ensuring the full range of effects from relaxation to euphoria are retained. By controlling pressure and temperature, CO2 extraction can precisely target the desired compounds without damaging them or introducing harmful solvents. This results in a clean, potent extract that maintains the therapeutic benefits of kava while being eco-friendly and safe.

Kavayn's commitment to quality
To demonstrate our commitment to quality, we provide a Certificate of Analysis (CoA) for every batch we produce. This document verifies the purity and potency of our kava, ensuring that each product meets the highest standards.

KavaPay: Revolutionizing the Kava Supply Chain in Fiji and Beyond
The kava supply chain in Fiji is a vibrant yet complex ecosystem, deeply intertwined with the cultural and economic fabric of the region. With 90% of kava farmers operating as smallholders on communally owned land, the sector faces significant challenges in scaling and commercializing operations. While native land can be leased, barriers such as limited access to finance, theft, Kava Dieback Disease (KDD), climate change, and natural disasters hinder the development of a robust, commercialized supply chain. Kavain Pte Ltd, after extensive consultations with kava farmers, identified access to finance as the primary constraint, with many farmers lacking the collateral needed to secure substantial loans from financial institutions. This bottleneck not only limits farm expansion in Fiji but also stifles growth across kava-producing countries in the Pacific.
To address these challenges and strengthen the kava supply chain, Kavain Pte Ltd has introduced KavaPay, a transformative financial platform designed to empower farmers, streamline supply chain operations, and ensure a sustainable, high-quality kava supply. Launching first in Fiji before expanding across the Pacific, KavaPay leverages technology to bridge the gap between smallholder farmers and commercial opportunities, fostering a resilient and efficient supply chain.
KavaPay
By addressing the financial barriers that limit farm development, KavaPay enables farmers to invest in productivity-enhancing tools, disease-resistant practices, and climate-resilient infrastructure. This not only boosts individual farm output but also enhances the reliability and consistency of the kava supply chain, meeting the growing global demand for this culturally significant crop.
